Merkle Science MCP Server provides blockchain forensics and compliance tools. Available capabilities: - Screen wallet addresses and transactions for AML/CFT risk (Compass API) - Manage compliance alerts and investigation cases - Check Bitcoin balances and cryptocurrency prices Authentication: send the Compass API key as X-API-KEY header or set MERKLE_SCIENCE_API_KEY. Get a key at compass.app.merklescience.com → Settings → API Keys. Blockchain tools (BTC balance, crypto price) work without a key. Blockchain parameters accept human names ('ethereum', 'bitcoin', 'tron') or numeric codes, OR can be omitted — the server will auto-detect from the address format when the chain is unambiguous (BTC, TRON, SOL). EVM addresses (0x…) default to 'ethereum' with an explicit note in the response so callers can override for BSC/Polygon/Arbitrum/Base/Optimism/Avalanche.
